NORTH CANTON, Ohio, April 25, 2025 — The Timken Company (NYSE: TKR; www.timken.com), a global technology leader in engineered bearings and industrial motion, is pleased to announce that the Manufacturing Institute (MI) has recognised Marissa Rubino, area manager – manufacturing at the company’s Keene, N.H., plant, as a 2025 Women MAKE Awards Emerging Leader. MI’s Women MAKE Awards annually recognise 130 women in the manufacturing industry who exemplify leadership within their companies and communities. Rubino is among 30 honoured as an emerging leader, defined as someone under the age of 30 who has demonstrated leadership early in her career.
“Marissa represents the next generation of world-class manufacturing leaders and problem solvers at Timken, and we congratulate her on this achievement,” said Natasha Pollock, Timken chief human resources officer. “She elevates our organisational and talent capabilities by leading and mentoring teams and inspiring us with her volunteer work and community engagement. Leaders like Marissa greatly contribute to serving our customers and solve their most challenging problems.”
After graduating from Georgia Institute of Technology’s mechanical engineering program, Rubino began her career as an operations development program associate with Timken. In her current role, she is responsible for all manufacturing departments and leads a team of four supervisors and nearly 90 employees across three shifts. Rubino plays an active role in recruiting efforts and her volunteer work with Keene’s Community Kitchen and Timken’s United Way campaign, helping shape the future of the company and the community where she lives and works.
MI formally recognised Rubino along with other honourees at the 2025 Women MAKE Awards gala on April 24 in Washington, D.C.
