Quality connections and a major new addition to the portfolio: Fastener Fair Spotlight launches, with its inaugural edition in Prague in 2028

The fifth edition of Fastener Fair Italy has drawn to a close. Held on 24 and 25 June at CityLife – Allianz MiCo in Milan, the event brought together 2,700 attendees from 48 countries, reaffirming its position as a key meeting point for the international fastener and fixing community. With 40% of attendees travelling from outside Italy, the event’s broad international reach continues to reflect the significance of the Fastener Fair portfolio on the global trade show calendar.

Almost two-thirds of attendees were key decision-makers, providing exhibitors with direct access to professionals with significant purchasing influence. Visitors attended to discover the latest industry trends, source new suppliers, explore innovative products and services, and build valuable business relationships.

The event attracted professionals from key sectors including automotive, metal products, construction, hardware and DIY retailing, mechanical engineering, and aerospace, with strong representation from management, sales, purchasing, procurement, agents and distributors.

Meaningful conversations at the core

Throughout both days, Fastener Fair Italy was the setting for high-quality exchanges: product presentations, technical discussions, and constructive dialogue between buyers and suppliers from across the globe. The visitor profile reflected the breadth of the supply chain – manufacturers, distributors, innovators and end users.

The edition took place against a backdrop of continuing economic uncertainty, with global market pressures and shifting demand weighing on many businesses. In this context, the industry sent a clear message: even – perhaps especially – in challenging times, face-to-face interaction remains irreplaceable. The conversations that took place at the show carried a depth and a directness that other formats simply cannot replicate.

Digital tools are playing an increasingly important role in supporting face-to-face networking, and this edition saw a marked step forward: adoption more than doubled compared with the previous edition. It is a result that illustrates how the impact of in-person events can be meaningfully extended through smart digital engagement before, during and after the show.

Fastener Fair Spotlight: a new chapter for the portfolio

Fastener Fair Italy 2026 also marked the beginning of a new chapter for the wider Fastener Fair portfolio with the introduction of Fastener Fair Spotlight – a peripatetic, market-led event platform designed to connect the fastener and fixing industry where growth is happening.

The format has been created to bring manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, buyers, engineers and innovators closer to high-potential manufacturing markets shaped by industrial expansion, inward investment and evolving sourcing demand. Fastener Fair Spotlight will complement the existing portfolio – which already spans events in Italy, Germany, India, Mexico and the USA – opening up new avenues for business development, networking and market access.

The inaugural edition, Fastener Fair Spotlight – Prague, will take place on 26–27 April 2028 at PVA EXPO Prague, Czech Republic, serving as a gateway to the fastener and fixing markets of Central and Eastern Europe.
