And breathe… As the dust settles on our first South American User Meeting, sit back and read through the highlights from the event.
New continent and new faces
The Rio User Meeting had 132 attendees from 68 companies. 17 of these companies had never attended a User Meeting before, and 17 of the companies in attendance were from South America.
The BearingNet team unveiled the brand-new Meeting Planner ahead of the Rio User Meeting, which saw over 540 meetings booked. However, there were plenty more impromptu meetings taking place in the meeting hall, at the bar or even around the pool!
“We have been doing User Meetings for over 20 years, and this is the first time we have ever hosted one in South America. This came from conversations with members from the continent and from elsewhere about which market is emerging and where they would like to make more connections. The country that was mentioned the most was Brazil, hence why we took the User Meeting to South America.
The feedback from the event, although smaller than our European User Meetings, was all very positive. A number of attendees mentioned that they liked the slower pace of this event compared to the larger European User Meetings, and we cannot wait to welcome you all to Salou next June!”

During the event, the BearingNet team were always on hand with a camera to capture all of the highlights. You may have seen them at the Welcome Reception, during the networking or at the Farewell Dinner.
