Torqx Capital Partners (“Torqx”) is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with the creditors and insolvency administrator of Joseph Dresselhaus GmbH & Co. KG and its subsidiaries (“Dresselhaus” or “the Company”) with regards to the acquisition of 100% of the shares of the Company, enabling Dresselhaus to continue after the insolvency procedures. Dresselhaus is a technical distributor of fasteners, mainly active in Germany. The Company has a strong focus on fastening technology, connectors and special- and drawing parts serving OEM, DIY and trade customers in a broad spectrum of end markets such as commercial and agricultural vehicles, machinery and furniture.
Together with Fabory, a pan-European fastener specialist and one of the current investments of Torqx, Torqx will support Dresselhaus in strengthening its position as a German fastener specialist by further investing in an efficient and high-quality supply chain and deep product- and application expertise to optimise its value-added services to all customers. In addition, the partnership between Dresselhaus and Fabory brings a broader pan-European coverage with a deeper product assortment to all of their combined customers assuring the highest level of reliability, service, quality and innovation. The plan is to merge Dresselhaus and Fabory into one company in due course.
