Corsair is a distinguished name in the global bearings industry, and they have achieved a remarkable milestone; 22 years of membership on the BearingNet platform.
Beginning as a family-run firm in Switzerland in 2003, the company joined the BearingNet community that same year, marking a significant turning point for the business. Corsair was founded with the goal of offering quality bearings and mechanical solutions, and it has established a solid reputation for dependability and technological know-how.
The business has broadened its product line throughout time to include transmission belts and chains along with oil seals and conveyor roller solutions. They can provide guidance and assistance with any bearing issues due to their years of combined experience in the supply of all power transmission equipment.
The BearingNet connection
Since 1996, distributors and manufacturers around the world have been connected by BearingNet, the online network for the bearing and power transmission industry. In 2003, Corsair joined BearingNet after seeing the platform’s potential to expand their worldwide reach and optimise their business processes. With the assistance of businesses like Corsair, the platform has expanded to more than 2,000 members from its 500 members in 2002.
Corsair has been using BearingNet’s extensive database and networking capabilities for more than 20 years. This milestone also highlights the importance of collaboration in driving growth and innovation. BearingNet has provided Corsair with a platform to exchange knowledge, share resources, and create lasting relationships.
Driving forward
As Corsair celebrates over two decades of partnership with BearingNet, the company remains committed to its core values. We spoke with Jordan Spanner, Managing Director of Corsair who wanted to share the company’s vision for the next year:
“We have been with BearingNet long enough to now be the second generation in the family to take the reins here at Corsair!
“In this industry we are dependent on international relationships to help source products and provide the service upon which our customers depend.”
Jordan Spanner explains.
“As global economic shifts create both challenges and opportunities, centralised access to the transmission community world-wide is more important than ever. 2025 is already shaping up to be a great year, and we continue to lean on our extensive network of industry partners to further expand our capabilities this year.
“We as a family here at Corsair really do appreciate the relationships we have been able to form through BearingNet and look forward to creating more through 2025!”
Nicola Beer, Managing Director of BearingNet says:
“We would like to say a massive thank you to Corsair for their support over the last 22 years. BearingNet would not be where it is today without the support of companies like Corsair. It has been great to see their team grow from strength to strength and here’s to many more years of success and partnership!”
