Corbetta Ermanno Srl is investing in two new Carlo Salvi CS 002 RF machines to renew its machinery and optimise the production process.
For months Corbetta has been convinced that, despite the uncertain political and economic climate, it was right to continue renewing its structure. The company did this by leveraging the Transition Plan 5.0, with the aim of maintaining its cutting-edge production capacity and keeping pace with the times.
For this reason, Corbetta has decided to replace three historic two-shot machines with two of the latest generation Carlo Salvi CS 002 RF machines. These are suitable for small and large batch production, meant for high performances. The machines guarantee quick set-up and high precision in production, thanks to the most advanced technologies aimed at ensuring the highest quality of the finished part.
“We were sad to see our old machines leave the company. They have been with us for many years, contributing to the fulfilment of millions of component orders without ever disappointing us. However, we must look to the future and adapt with the new market dynamics, which are increasingly demanding in terms of quality and pre/post-sales service” Mauro and Fabio Corbetta, explain.
The new machines will be operational from early September 2025. “We have announced that, after an initial adjustment period, this step (which follows the introduction of the automatic rotating tool magazine) will let us move into the future maintaining and enhancing our ability to compete in an increasingly daring sector.”
A few months ago, Corbetta installed an automated rotating warehouse in its facility with the aim of streamlining the management of tools for preparing machines for production start-up.
