R&M Bearings International: The Digital Route Proves to Be a Big Hit With Trade Customers

R&M Bearings commission an update to its trade webshop to enhance user experience.

R&M Bearings International, a leading UK-based importer/exporter of bearings for over 42 years, have commissioned an update to its trade webshop following unprecedented clicks in the past six months.

Proudly established in 1983, R&M Bearings International is an independent wholesaler with a renowned reputation and service reliability. They still have three of the staff members that have been a part of the company from the first day.

With a shift in their stock holding at the start of 2024 to even larger quantities of premium bearings, and a further drill down to being market leaders of certain ranges, specifically in FAG, INA, Timken, SKF and RHP brands, trade sales have since seen a rise of over 125%!

R&M were one of the first companies to offer an online option, with their trade store becoming live over 17 years ago in 2008, alongside their dedicated e-commerce B2C site.

In today’s fast moving digital world, the company has recently commissioned an upgrade of the webshop to enhance the customer’s experience even further.

“Our intention was always to provide a digital experience that was visually clean and easy to use. Users can view our live stock price, availability and can have their order on account confirmed with two clicks. It is proving to be a very popular option for the trade.”

Stated Director, Stephen Martin Jnr.

Stephen added, “We want to continue to be at the forefront of customer service, so a webshop update has been commissioned to give the customer that little bit of enhanced user experience.”

R&M Bearings will be at another BearingNet User meeting, this time in Warsaw, Poland next March—joining BearingNet in celebrating its 30th birthday —and R&M Bearings look forward to catching up with everyone there!
