Way Forward
Today we celebrate International Workers’ Day, and as we celebrate, we focus on all the amazing workers that we have met through the years and who we know today.
International Workers Day or May Day, as it is often known, is celebrated across the world. The day celebrates the victories for international solidarity of the working classes.
So, today we give recognition to you and your company, all our individual users who work hard every day to keep the industry moving, and to our team who are helping distributors just like you to locate parts, showcase inventory and connect with other distributors worldwide!

This year’s theme is Way Forward. It’s a reminder of the collective power of workers and the importance of building a world where everyone’s contributions are valued and protected.
Early Celebration
The first International Workers’ Day was inspired by events in Chicago, USA, and the ongoing fight for workers’ rights globally. When socialists declared the 1st May as International Workers’ Day in 1889 the day started to become more recognised. The May celebrations spread rapidly across Europe and reached other continents, to later become a day recognised by governments and celebrated annually on 1st May worldwide.

Today and Beyond
International Workers’ Day is a day that is celebrated today by over 100 countries worldwide, and reminds us of the ongoing struggles for workers’ rights and the importance of creating a sustainable future of work for people in all industries and every level of employment. The day recognises and celebrates the history of organised labour and is used to promote current campaigns for better working and living.
Today we celebrate this significant day and the work of everyone – take in this moment and if you haven’t already, give yourself a nod and celebrate your hard work and dedication to your craft.
