IVOR Bearings Approaches 50-Year Milestone: A Family Legacy in Motion

From its origins as a family business in Venezuela in 1976, the company has grown into a leading regional group, now driven by its second generation with a vision for the future.

In 1976, Rodamientos Rovi was founded in Venezuela, an enterprise born from an entrepreneurial vision and a dedication to serving the industry’s needs with quality products and a personal approach. This marked the beginning of a story that, nearly five decades later, has transformed into the IVOR Bearings Group. Today, the organisation operates through its key entities, IVOR Bearings Inc. and IVOR Bearings Int., with offices in Venezuela, Miami, Costa Rica, Panama (including the Colón Free Zone), and the
Dominican Republic.

What began as a local project soon evolved into a company with regional reach, always guided by the same values that inspired its founder: honesty, commitment, and trust. The opening of operations in the Colón Free Zone, Panama, marked a significant turning point, enabling greater international reach. Furthering this commitment and to mark its upcoming anniversary, the company opened a new office this year in the province of Chiriquí, Panama, strategically positioned to enhance service for its partners in Panama and Costa Rica.

The leadership of the company combines the strength of its founding generation with the drive of the new one. Fernando Rojas, CEO and Founder, together with Andreina Tinoco, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), continue to lead the company with the same vision and commitment that built its foundation. At the same time, the new generation is taking on key roles, with Jennifer Rojas as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Daniel Rojas as Senior VP of Regional Sales (not pictured), ensuring continuity and innovation for the future.

“Our goal is to combine the reliability our partners have known for nearly 50 years with the efficiency of modern solutions.”
