Pressbolt Middle East advances sustainability through digitalisation, waste reduction, and renewable initiatives, aligning with the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 vision.
Pressbolt Middle East is an Italian fastener manufacturing company located in the Industrial District of Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. The company is a joint venture between Petro Middle East (UAE) and parent company Pressbolt S.r.l, based in Italy with more than 44 years history in fastener manufacturing, offering a diverse range of products. Pressbolt Middle East has been present in the UAE for over 15 years from where it services and supplies the Middle East, North Africa, Asia, and Australia.
The company has embraced and committed itself to sustainability by integrating energy-efficient methods in terms of digitalisation and Al to enhance its operations for production, performance, and inventory control. They also initiated reducing material waste by incorporating sustainable practices in its versatile manufacturing capabilities as well as sustainable packing of its products and other initiatives to cut down on waste. This reinforces its commitment to sustainability aligned with its environmental management system, ISO 14001.
Additionally, they also expanded their focus and started working more with renewables and nuclear industries while exploring opportunities in hydrogen. Also, being involved in one of ADNOC’s carbon capture utilisation and storage (CCUS) projects, which is one of the largest in the Middle East and North Africa, as the manufacturer and supplier of fasteners.
Over the years, the company has optimised digitalisation to minimise energy consumption and operational waste, aligning with the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 initiative. Through technological innovation and responsible manufacturing, Pressbolt Middle East continues to align with the UAE’s sustainability vision, reinforcing its commitment to a greener industrial landscape.
