On July 9, 2024, Technology Day 2024 took place at Ludwig Meister in Dachau – a day full of innovations, knowledge exchange and pioneering technologies.
In close cooperation with their long-term partner SKF, Ludwig Meister organised an event that offered their customers valuable insights and practical solutions to optimise their maintenance tasks.

Keynote speech by SKF
The day started with an inspiring keynote speech by SKF on the topic “Realising the full potential: new approaches to asset analysis, condition monitoring and remanufacturing”. The presentation offered participants a deep insight into the latest technologies and methods that help to significantly improve the efficiency and service life of assets. In particular, the aspects of asset analysis and condition monitoring attracted great interest and stimulated numerous technical discussions.
Interactive workshops
After the introductory lecture, the workshop continued with interactive workshops that were specifically designed to deepen practical knowledge. The focus was on topics such as rolling bearing damage, the correct installation and removal of rolling bearings and the precise alignment of shafts. The participants were not only able to refresh their theoretical knowledge, but also get hands-on and try out the latest techniques.
