Taiwan Industry Week 2025: A Global “Sales Engine” Achieves Record-Breaking Industrial Success

TAICHUNG, TAIWAN – The 2025 edition of Taiwan Industry Week (TIW) has officially concluded, marking a milestone year for the nation’s manufacturing sector. Serving as a high-powered “sales engine,” the event brought together four major exhibitions—hardware, metal, safety, and HVAC—to generate high-quality leads and close significant international deals.

Synergy of the Four Specialized Shows

The event’s success was driven by the strategic union of four leading trade shows under one roof:

  • 25th Taiwan Hardware Show (THS): This cornerstone event moved to Taichung to be closer to manufacturing hubs, resulting in record engagement and stronger buyer turnout.
  • 11th International Metal Technology Taiwan (iMT): Celebrating its 10th milestone edition, it remains the only platform in Taiwan covering the entire metal production value chain.
  • Occupational Safety Taiwan (T-SAFE): A breakthrough year that cemented its position as the most influential event for workplace safety, featuring immersive “Demo Areas” for safety procedures.
  • Refrigeration & HVAC Taiwan (RHVAC): Following a resounding success, this show saw a rebooking rate exceeding 90% within just one week of its close.

Global Impact by the Numbers

TIW 2025 saw a massive surge in international interest and professional engagement:

  • Attendance: 29,025 professional visits recorded from 71 different countries.
  • Exhibitors: 311 companies participated, with 70% of exhibitors rebooking for the following year within the first week.
  • International Reach: 16% of all visitors were international, supported by an ecosystem of over 200 local and international industry associations.

Direct Deals and High Buyer Satisfaction

The Exhibitor–Buyer Meeting program was the heart of the event’s business success, facilitating 228 face-to-face meetings between suppliers and decision-makers from 18 countries, including the USA, Germany, Japan, and the Philippines.

  • Satisfaction: 92.3% of exhibitors reported high satisfaction with the meetings.
  • Success Rate: An incredible 96.6% of these sessions are expected to result in direct orders or long-term follow-up business.

Testimonials from global buyers underscored the event’s value. The CEO of Autoaid Philippines noted that 80% of their product range is sourced from Taiwan, making the show’s “new solutions for the automotive aftermarket” vital for their growth. Similarly, MIS Thailand utilized the platform to access specialized “seamless tube” technologies not widely available in their local market.

Digital Power and Media Presence

The event’s reach extended far beyond the physical show floor:

  • Media Exposure: 77 global media partners from 47 countries generated over 330 million impressions worldwide.
  • Web Engagement: The official website attracted 1.9 million unique visits, performing 2.5 times higher than the global industry average for user engagement.

Looking Ahead: Taipei 2026

Building on this momentum, Taiwan Industry Week 2026 will return to Taipei, where it is expected to host over 450 exhibitors and attract more than 40,000 visits. The upcoming event will also expand into advanced sectors such as fire protection, disaster prevention, and civil defense.
